unstable idlling-stalling im going nuts

My car just threw a TPS fault code. It also ran shit under light throttle and became jerky.

Idle however, was perfect with this fault. The engine light goes away when the throttle was pressed but the code gets stored.

Most likely due to wear of the variable resistor from the wiper contact leading to an output voltage (probably 0V) outside an acceptable range.

I'm gonna simply change the entire throttle body to avoid faffing about with TPS adjustments.

Exactly. because the TPS is factory set with the screw at the back, I always change the entire TB. They are also readily avail and cheap. It took me 20 mins to clean and swap out the replacement one so it is also very easy and the problem is mended.
